Import/Export Settings
The configuration of the software is a static configuration that configures the behavior of the software as a vision workstation within a factory. It cannot be loaded like a project. It includes the configuration of communication interfaces with the outside world, the configuration of the system signals, and a miscellaneous collection of settings.
It is a good practice to save backups of the app configuration, so that you can restore it to a previous state in case of undesired changes, problems with the hardware, or simply to keep track of the changes. The backup file is very small (in the order of KB).
You can import and export configurations with the Import config and Export config buttons on the configuration menu. The software configuration is stored in a file named app_config.json.
